I have been dedicated to paediatric surgery for many years, gaining extensive experience at leading institutions both in the Czech Republic and internationally. I currently practise at the Department of Paediatric Surgery of the Second Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, and Motol University Hospital in Prague. I have also further developed my expertise in the United Kingdom, including in Cambridge and at the renowned Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. Alongside my clinical work, I am actively engaged in academic research; as part of my doctoral studies, I specialise in oesophageal atresia and contribute to international research projects.

In my practice, I place strong emphasis on clinical excellence, modern surgical techniques, and, equally, on a sensitive and individualised approach to each patient and their family. I regularly participate in international professional congresses and am the author and co-author of a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals.

I consider it essential that patients and their parents leave each consultation with a clear understanding of the proposed treatment and a well-founded sense of trust.
